Hi,
I've re-subscribed to PE after a couple years away and I've discovered Storm Chaser on MyFlightRoute.com. I noted today that the weather is not current. it is ~24hrs old. Perhaps there's a malfunction today. Since I've not used it before I was curious is this always the case.
Thanks

Re: Help me find the TEC route out of SMO
Thank you Keith. Now that I see it, it was not as complicated as I recalled it to be. However, on a real GNS430 I would have to create a user waypoint for the intersection of SMO125 and SLI251 radials if I wanted to navigate solely on GPS. In XP11 I need to use the old-school VOR's I think since I c...

Help me find the TEC route out of SMO
There is a TEC route of of SMO that intercepts one of the LAX radials then turns south to intercept and SLI 251 radial. I've flown this before but I cannot find it again. I think my flight was interrupted and I terminated so cannot find it in the PE flight history. I liked this route because of the ...

Re: [Jul 21-25] SimVenture 2020
Wow, I was so impressed by PilotEdge with the SimVenture that they put on. I've been a subscriber for several years now and it helped greatly while I was working on my instrument rating about 4 years ago, but SimVenture was the most fun I've ever had on any simulator environment. It was so good that...

Time for (PDC) pre-departure clearance in PilotEdge
Getting too busy for us that only have time for simming on the weekend. A email pre-departure clearance system might help.

Re: Ran out of Gas - NEmergency
That's a great experience. I am also interested how it was that the LOC being out of service on your sim matched the real-world NOTAM. Does PE have a way to control that? I don't think so. I'm guessing your sim database was not in sync with the real-world. That happened to me often before upgrading ...

Rod - Thanks for the link to Flight1. It appears they do have an Avidyne Integra panel. See: http://www.flight1tech.com/Products/Avi ... lator.aspx
I think I will check that out. For $99 is worth the risk.
Thanks again

I forgot to ask which flight model you are using. Is it the Jason Chandler SR2x series?

Re: Looking for an SR22 for X-plane with good avionics
Rod, That is a really nice setup. I didn't realize that the SimAvio was available for non-TouchTrainer customers. That's good to know. The price is a bit staggering but certainly a better deal than developing the software myself. I think for the time being I will stick with FS-X and the EagleSoft SR...

Re: Looking for an SR22 for X-plane with good avionics
Hey I forgot to mention I already seen those two sites as well. I'm a COPA member and had seen that thread. However it's over two years old and flythissim has stopped producing a DIY version. The only way you can purchase it now is to buy the full simulator for a minimum of five grand. I was hoping ...
