Re: Flight following departing Class C airspace
Obviously I can’t be for certain because I didn’t listen to the recordings, nor was I there but based on what you have said... In Class C airspace, you are automatically provided RADAR Services. They will usually terminate you at a certain distance away from the primary field if you didn’t ask for F...

Re: When to start descent with “cross at or above” instructi
It’s right there in 5-3-3. Yup its right there in the 777 pages! lol That is cool. Learned something new today. I have to say though, that it's rare for me to hear this on PDs. In areas where PDs are issued a lot, I imagine this would become very annoying and needless for the ATC (I may be wrong), ...

Re: When to start descent with “cross at or above” instructi
The ATC has already protected that airspace for you and has allowed you to start down at any time. If you report to him that you are leaving your current altitude without an instruction to do so by the ATC, it may be considered unnecessary radio transmissions. So... especially if it’s busy- don’t ha...

Re: X-Plane Auto Startup BATCH File
Maybe you should include some more details about what web pages it opens up. Your post is rather vague and doesn’t really give people a good idea of what they’re downloading. Yeah I didn’t think of that. I included it in the BATCH File Help menu but obviously people wouldn’t know that before runnin...

Re: X-plane doesn't load
You have uninstalled the PE plugin and seen if it starts without it again? I’m asking because a friend of mine is having issues with XP starting just as you said in general. This is a new development and I wonder if it is a windows update or something causing it.

Re: When a controller says "squawk VFR"
Never “IDENT” without specific instruction to. The feature provides the ATC with a flashing data lock on their scope to help indentify you (hence “ident”). When ATC instructs you to “Squawk VFR”, they will usually be cancelling your radar services and sending you off. Therefore, there is no need to ...
