The Bendix/King KMA28 audio control panel in the C172 is functional for monitoring multiple radios, although it does not work exactly as the real unit. With the latest PE client, if you are disconnected from the network you'll hear "Disconnected from PilotEdge" audio.

If you need to pause the simulator for any reason make sure to get ATC permission first. If it will be an extended time, you should disconnect and finish the flight offline.
