Classic Quotes
Listening to the PE receiver today while doing a bit of work (usually have it on in the background as you can learn lots from listening to others), Keith was controlling and came out with a brilliant quote that made me laugh. "Can you make it off at Charlie?", "Apply rental braking te...

Re: What happened to the PE expansion?
Keith, thank you for the response. It's great to know that the project is still alive.

What happened to the PE expansion?
Well its been around a year or so since the original plans for the PilotEdge expansion was announced. About six months ago it was said that the relevant data was trickling through but since then there hasn't been a single mention about it. Is the expansion still going ahead? If it is still going ahe...

FSLabs A320
I know PE tends to be mostly Xplane users but for those of us who run the ESP platforms the FSLabs A320 is very close to release. This will bring a new definition to the term "High fidelity aircraft addon". Absolutely insane level of systems detail! http://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.ph...

Re: Peaware flight logging
Right ok, so I presume if I working out how copy all the models in MyTraffic6 then they would perfectly? Indeed, it should. Just make sure you are using the "title" line from the Aircraft.cfg file. Awesome! Thank you very much for this. MT6 has a pretty extensive amount of high quality mo...

Re: Peaware flight logging
I know that X-Plane seems to be the preferred/only sim that a lot of the well known PE community use but there are quite a few of us that use and prefer P3D (for many many very good reasons). So are there any new HD CSL's coming our way? There aren't CSLs for FSX/P3D. You can set your own models by...

Re: Appropriate action...
If this happens, in my experience the first thing to do is tell the tower that you are struggling to maintain separation from the traffic. They will advise you of what they want you to do. I have seen this happen on the network numerous times and especially at KSNA which is kind of a focus field for...

Re: ORBX SoCal (finally) in beta ...
Wow that looks awesome. My credit card is ready for release day! Take that X-Plane! (Ducks for cover) LOLs... I have X-Plane with the HDMesh v3 and it's a great comparison to FTX Global. If you add some photoscenery on top, it's great. It lacks the buildings and airports that the Orbx crew adds, bu...
