Re: Want To Learn Quickly! (Very New To PilotEdge)
I would also suggest that you work your way up. Start off at a small uncontrolled airport about 30-45 minutes away from a small Class D airport. Fly to it and land making the necessary radio calls to ATC. This will give you about 20-25 minutes to prepare yourself for flying in to their airspace. Nex...

Re: Real World Coast to Coast now available
It's all about being safe and you made the call to do something that you thought was more safe. I can't fault someone for that.

Re: Real World Coast to Coast now available
Just finished the series. Great training aid. Its like actually sitting in the cockpit with Keith as he flies. I learned a lot and got a real kick out of watching Keith flying around SoCal and the PE area and finishing at my "virutal" home airport of KCRQ.

Re: ASR / PAR approaches and non-gyro vectors.
I would like to see this as well. I wouldn't think that ASR approaches would be hard to do with the tech that PE is currently using now. PAR maybe not so much.

Different controllers doing it differently.
Don't take this as a criticism because it is not intended to be that way. I know in real life this stuff happens too. I was flying VFR out of PSP the other evening and contacted ground first, specifying that I did not want flight following. I was advised to call clearance first. I did and after taki...

What about some virtual fly ins - workshops.
Has PE thought about having some virtual fly-ins to a SoCal airport followed by a live webinar type training event? Something like the EAA or AOPA has on a virtual scale? Have the event start at say 11:00 a.m. and everyone that attends must fly in to the virtual airport in advance? I think this woul...

Re: Never again on PE - share your mistakes
Here is one that got me the other night and I knew better. The controller was really busy and he blew me through the LOC for an ILS. I knew he was going to and started to say something before I got to it but I was enjoying the flight so I just hung back. He eventually recognized and told me to turn ...

Excellent. I thought the bigger planes looked like B-1s.
