On FSX there are two runways, I was cleared to land 16R, as I was coming in on final I saw only two runways, then I saw what seem to be a thinner runway on the far right side of the air...

Re: type and clearence
In regards to the clearance question. In the real world environment for a VFR flight I always just contact ground and there has never been a problem, on PE however it seems that if there is a clearance delivery freq on the chart/airport layout then use the clearance delivery freq to request your VFR...

Re: VFR: Initial departure heading & altitude
What am I supposed to do with it? KSNA clearence delivery gave me an initial heading and altitude (at or below 2400). Is that just to get mentally prepared for tower instructions that will follow after takeoff, or does this actually allow me to make a turn and climb after takeoff? Thanks, Stefan Af...

Re: one of them days!
Hand flying any airplane in the Florida summer battling thermals and the while flying an ILS, VOR or NDB approach is one of the most stressful things you can do in the Air. When you include ATC yelling at you and your CFI giving you strange looks, wow, I really didn't enjoy doing my IR rating, but w...

Re: Advise controller when commencing descent
When I was training as a pilot some years ago (Mid 2000s)we were advised to report changes in altitude for VFR flights, Since being on PE the controllers advised me otherwise,
