Re: Sidetone (hearing yourself) with David Clark headsets?

Nice! It really is a good price. So just some differences - the intercom unit will make it easy to work with two headsets but seems to be Mono only and might be troublesome mixing in additional audio. TASCAM is not a true intercom with squelch and connecting two headsets is a bit more difficult, how...

Re: Sidetone (hearing yourself) with David Clark headsets?

For anyone still looking for a solution, I have the Bose A20 working PERFECTLY with sidetone and everything, even intercom with co-pilot if needed, through a device called TASCAM 2x2. It’s basically a USB sound card device and a sound mixer. It has two inputs, a speaker output, also a separate Headp...

Re: Pilotedge, other traffic and TCAS

Nop, no Vulkan for me yet. It’s just a very general question how these things normally work on PE :)

Pilotedge, other traffic and TCAS

Hi I fly Xplane 11 and usually the TBM900 or King Air 350. I don't have any AI airplanes added and these days I don't seem to be getting any traffic input to TCAS. I'm also not sure if I can see other planes around me, been very empty on last few flights. I used to get other airplanes but they may h...

Re: Flying from West Coast to East Coast - PilotEdge -> VATS

Thanks so much, Keith. Excellent tips and your idea about the 2-3 hour flight from Seattle to Phoenix is great! I think I will do just that since I have the Western Expansion too. Gotta buy a couple of sceneries first :D I must say I love your network, the whole concept and the realism you provide. ...

Flying from West Coast to East Coast - PilotEdge -> VATSIM

Hi, I thought I'd give it a go and fly from KLAX or KSFO to KJFK with the new and wonderful PMDG 747 in Prepar3D. I thought it would be awesome to integrate both PilotEdge and VATSIM to my flight to get the best of the both worlds. I guess that logging off the PE client and starting vPilot or simila...

Some questions from European pilot

Hi, First of all PilotEdge is an awesome place to fly with. Very realistic experience indeed. I have flown IFR in real here in Europe a lot and also countless hours in VATSIM and I know the European IFR very well. However, there are indeed some differences in the US which have made me look a bit new...
