Entering PE covered airspace from outside (say Canada)
Looking at some FSE routes that come into Seattle Center airspace from up in Canada.
Is the standard procedure to still file a full flightplan from the dep airport in CA then contact center when in/near that airspace? Any other nuances I should know? Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

Not sure I chose the right words. The frequency probably was "working". It just wasnt either of the 2 I was expecting from the enroute chart. I was on a flight yesterday and when I got near AVE i knew that was the area where the FIR's join so I was looking at the chart to see if i could pr...

and another question. is there any way to amend/correct a flight plan filed via the website? would you just file a new one? or does that create multiple confusing entries for controllers?
