Re: TEC Route Slider
I’m almost certain I have one somewhere here. I definitely had one back in the “old days” ... now I gotta look....

Thanks Keith. Don’t ever feel like I don’t appreciate the innovation and technical excellence of PE.

ADS-B Traffic Input to (e.g.) Garmin GTN-750?
The other day I had a King Air buzz right under me (100 ft or less) from behind (I was flying a helo at 120 kts). I sometimes use ForeFlight for traffic but at the time I was focused on flying. I asked on Discord and got an “it’s on the list” answer which is fine. I thought I would post a formal req...

Re: some nice feedback...
My turn -- 3000+ hour commercial/multi/instrument no stratosphere, no instructing, just thick air aviating around the Western USA from age 10 onward with the dream of being a down-and-dirty master IFR pilot. I reached a high point in my skills around 1990, then my hours/year dropped and dropped. No ...

Re: Realistic Sounding ATC...Reviving old topic
OK I figured out how to filter incoming ATC audio to make it sound reasonably real, and also provide adjustable microphone side tone, with a few free "minimal" versions of tools. If anyone is interested post back and I will write it up. I think I could also filter the microphone audio but ...

Military Call Signs
I apologize but I searched for "call signs" and got back loads of responses and "ignored "call", so apologies in advance for repeating a question which may be a FAQ. I'm flying helicopters and typically I have them outfitted as military ships. What are the rules for this? Ca...

Re: PE Audio Dropouts
At first, I thought it was the VHF audio filter that I run, since it's known to mar inputs when the CPU is under heavy load I'm curious ... does your VHF audio filter only the PE Comms and not all of the other sounds in the sim? My attempt using Equalizer APO resulted in VHF AM sounds for everythin...

Re: Realistic Sounding ATC...Reviving old topic
Filtering the ATC audio seems like a great idea. I'm on Win10 so I installed Equalizer APO 1.2 and adjusted only my Logitec Gaming Headset (a separate audio device for playback and record) using the PE Receiver. Sounding great! Then I started up XP and , damn, the aircraft sounds, nav idents, wind, ...

Re: PilotEdge Receiver feedback
I have NOT read through this entire thread. I have observed that if you lose internet, the app dies with an uncaught exception and you get one of those "stopped unexpectedly" popups.

Re: some nice feedback...
Last Saturday Feb 10, same smooth and easy experience. I am literally a lifetime pilot (sat in the DC-3 co-pilot seat when I was 7 years old). Simulator flying has been an on and off thing for years, mostly off due to postage stamp screens, low-power PC, and little patience. Well, it's all different...
