Hello,
This clearance was issued in error by the controller and will be addressed with the controller in question. As you state that arrival is not valid to that airports.

Re: I-11 Questions
Hello Patrick, I requested 11000 since the MEA for V442 is 10000. However when I filed my flight plan, the clearance I was given was 9000 (which is above the 8100 MOCA). I was told "unable 11000". I assume this was for traffic? If I had requested 9000 in my flight plan, would that be appro...

Re: Runway Closures
I've removed several posts that don't make any sense anymore now that runway closures have changed.

Re: Complaint
Hello Elias, We found the recording of this flight. Your request for flight following wasn't denied as you were given a squawk and departure frequency. The controller simply advised that on such a short flight it may not be useful which is true. The flight is 18 NM (the controller was estimating whe...

Re: Procedure NA arrival on airway radials 230 CW 310
The 230 and 310 restrictions are inclusive vs exclusive.
So in this case V27 and V4-495 are affected by this restriction.

Re: Preferred routes Foreflight vs piloted.clarification ple
Hello Pete, For your first route that is the Jet routing into SJC. Piston aircraft don't get assigned the BRIXX arrival as it would interfere with the jet arrivals. The second route isn't a valid route as flight planning requirements require at least 1 fix per transited ARTCC. There is no fix in ZSE...

Re: SBP active runway
Hello, We don't currently track the minimums for each airport within the operating area and make adjustments to the runway in use based on that (however we may do so in the future). Usually an individual airport has light enough traffic that if you would like another specific approach or runway ther...

Re: Class B airspace question
Hello, You are reading everything correctly chart wise. I listed to the recording and based on your post and that recording what happened was a bit of communication confusion. The controller was expecting you to descend below the shelves so that you don't end up entering the airspace until just befo...

Re: CDO’s/Standups at the regionals
Closest I ever got to calling in fatigued was the one standup I had at the regionals, which then got extended to fit an extra turn at the end of it. The sooner they get rid of those things the better.

Re: Flagstaff ILS Runway 21
Having flown this approach IRL a few times it's noticeable but not an issue for anything short of a turbine.
There's a 14000' mountain which is just close enough to the north to not allow the straight in.
Fun fact, 3 degrees is the maximum offset for an ILS.
