Peter, Keith, et al. Do you permit call signs for defunct airlines?
Although I'll take my first flights in a GA Piper, I have a DHC-8 Q400 in obviously fictitious Pan Am livery and would love to rule the skies as Clipper XXX.

Re: Call Signs
Hi Marshall,
Of course! As long as you use the proper 3 letter prefix, it's no problem. We have had Clipper guys flying around before, actually.

Re: Call Signs
Best news I've had all day, which was lousy. I'm a journalist and the evening was spent on that burning Speedbird, at KLAS.
Three-letter prefix meaning the ICAO code, which was PAA?
Regards,
Marshall

Re: Call Signs
Keith, hi.
Not sure how well I can redeem the Jet Age airline of my youth in a turboprop twin, but I hope to bend fewer airframes than those old Sky Gods did. Aiming to do my V-ratings in a Comanche and, maybe, the I-exams in the Dash. It's such a nice-flying fake plane.
And turboprops are just weirdly appealing. Dunno why. I think, as a kid, I imprinted on the whistling, warbling, rumble and shriek of Northeast Yellow Bird F27s, riding offshore breezes into Hyannis. Go figure.
Lancair's pressurized t-prop looks awfully sweet. As a CEO, you really need one, eh?
Best,
Marshall
