PE Client for Prepar3Dv4 and VIP + Squawkbox models
=============================================
Hello,
On further investigation it seems that the issue causing CTD in P3Dv4 may be due to the Bell 206B helicopter
in the squawkbox model set.
I have done a few flights with the vip models replaced and removed the squawkbox models, after having done this I
have not had any CTD or other stability issues.
Doing this will give you the helicopters back at KAVX, and you will not have to put up with the VTOL Barons any more.
Anyways give it a try and see how ya go.
Cya !!
Merv

Re: Possible fix for vip model sets for PE Client
Thanks Merv, that's helpful to know.
Re: Possible fix for vip model sets for PE Client
Thanks Merv, can you be more specific with what files you renamed please?
Re: Possible fix for vip model sets for PE Client
Quite simple really.
Goto the Pilotedge Directory eg: Pilotedge\aircraft\
Rename the file SBX.sms to something else or remove it from the directory.
Then go to \Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\ directory and remove the squawkbox directory that the pilotedge client installer placed there, be sure to leave the VIP directory.
