The scenery developer is working on a version which will prioritize the objects differently, allowing you to reduce your object density slider in the graphics settings and turn down lots of the static detail while still keeping the important bits.

Fantastic!!

Thanks much for the Help... I had to move it all the way to the top and it's working super now...
Now that scenery matches what I expect from my actual trips to Osh Kosh...

Sgabriel, the updated scenery is now available here: https://www.pilotedge.net/pages/simventure-downloads. This allow you to scale the number of objects up or down using the "Number of World Objects" in the Graphics settings of xplane.

Here are some screenshots:
Level 2, Low, 83 fps: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... nknown.png, additional Level 2 shot showing runway area: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... nknown.png

Level 3, medium: 75 fps: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... nknown.png

Level 4, high: 62fps: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... nknown.png

Level 5: max, 53fps: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... nknown.png

Your FPS will vary (this is an older machine with a GTX 1080TI), but the frame rate increase/decrease as a % will hopefully be helpful.

Yes, the core plugin distribution was updated a few days ago, see the PE downloads page: https://www.pilotedge.net/pages/downloa ... are-xplane, notice it now says that Vulkan is supported.

First day of ops were outstanding! Looking forward to Thursday! Too tired to type more but if anyone here is not in our Discord, you should really consider it. The community is great and there are some wonderful videos/screenshots being shared there, too.

Just released v1.3
- improved LOD, "Number of real wold objects" in X-plane graphics settings. Focused on a few hotspots and, with a little care about making the priorities look a little more natural. It should just look like you arrived early.
- Fixed some missing assets
- Hay barrels, gotta have more hay barrels
- Forests, facades, oh my

https://www.flykosh.com/SimVenture+2020+v1.3.zip

1. Delete existing SimVenture 2020 folder
2. Unzip SimVenture 2020 v1.3.zip
3. Drag folder into Custom Scenery

Also, this is entirely optional, but there is a ortho extension that adds additional HD ortho coverage for the arrival area that is not included in the main scenery to limit file size. The overlays are provided by the main scenery package. The mesh is specifically refined for the arrival from Green lake to KOSH.

What a wonderful event! I had such an outstanding experience. And the controllers did an amazing job. Thanks to everyone who helped put this event together. You are amazing. Hope this becomes a regular event. I was only able to fly it one day, as the other days I had to work during the hours posted for this event. Once again, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved in putting this together ( for those pilots who participated in it).
