Real World GPS jamming - good reason to practice without it

Alerting everyone to interesting new article in the IEEE Spectrum on occasional real world jamming/spoofing of GPS signals by US military in southwestern US areas, and the implications for pilots.

Yes, military jamming is announced on NOTAMS (you read 'em all , right?) but impossible for you - or ATC - to know when you'll be affected, till it happens. Happily, not simulated on PE !
But a reminder to all of us of importance of refreshing our VOR/ILS navigation only skills in our sims. And habitually backing up our GPS nav with other raw data..
